Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Application Security Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Iselin, NJ. This is a 6+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Provide hands-on technical support for the Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platforms Drive vendor accountability to address product defects and ensure timely resolution Support patching, upgrade testing, and ensure system functionality during changes Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development teams, and offshore partners Evaluate Checkmarx SaaS features and assist with planning the transition from on-premise to SaaS Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for processes and updates Requirements: 4+ years of experience in application security 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira/Confluence or equivalents Strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10 Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell (3+ years) 2+ years of SQL experience Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills Desired Qualifications: 2+ years of cloud experience Pay Range: $50-$60 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
