Title and Summary Armed Physical Security Officer
Overview
•Physical security and compliance security officer, maintains and monitors physical security policies, standards, and best practices
•Abides by Security guidelines relative to armed security standards to provide safety and security of staff and assets
•Assists employees and guests
Responsibilities
•Interaction with employees and guests, provide direction on security policy and visitor directions as needed
•Operational use of security systems
•Compliance with security operating guidelines
•Coordinates/Dispatches emergency responses to all security events
•Ensures proper escalation of any security related issues
•Resolves complex customer service issues
•Monitors response to access control, fire detection and CCTV systems
•Building Patrols and mobile patrols as required
•Grants ID badges to staff as needed
•Initiates Incident Report investigations and provides detailed reports
•Respond to emergency dispatch, response and mitigation relative to security, fire or EMS response
Experiences/Requirements
•Minimum of one year of service as an Active or retired law enforcement officer, corrections officer or military service member.
•Minimum of 1 year as an armed security officer in good standing and an Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice.
•Active Driver's license
•Physically fit enough to walk building patrols
•Minimum High School graduate or Equivalent
•Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in law enforcement, adult corrections, firefighting or emergency medical field.
•Represents MasterCard while interacting with Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement liaison at State and Local levels
•Strong Customer Service Skills
•Formal and ongoing Security Training
•Complex problem solving

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
