Job Title: Licensed Auto Technician (Ontario)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Licensed Auto Technician in Ontario to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality of service. As a licensed technician, you will play an essential role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Procedures: Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to identify and diagnose automotive issues. Document findings accurately and report them to the manufacturer.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet provincial safety and regulatory requirements.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs, maintenance, and installations of vehicle parts in accordance with industry standards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of services performed, customer interactions, and vehicle history.
• Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with current automotive industry practices, techniques, and technologies to improve service and efficiency.
• Workplace Maintenance: Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe for all employees and customers.
• Team Collaboration: Work under the direction of a Red Seal technician, receiving guidance and support as a lead hand for your technical tasks.

Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Auto Technician certification in Ontario.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and basic hand tools .
• Strong problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, taking direction from a Red Seal technician.
• Knowledgeable in maintaining vehicle safety standards and provincial regulations .
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain customer records and repair documentation.
• Committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace at all times.
