The Commercial Project Manager administers, develops, supports and coordinates a variety of functions and projects for the Argen Commercial Team. This role focuses on strategy and execution, partnering with internal stakeholders to drive projects from conception to implementation, creating processes to improve results and managing cross-functional projects.

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: 8515 Miralani Dr, San Diego, CA 92126

The day-to-day:

• Prioritize, develop, create reports, and execute strategic project plans.
• Manage the priority list and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement contingency plans to minimize impact.
• Maintain and improve process documentation.
• Assess and allocate project resources effectively, coordinating with teams to optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, conduct financial analyses when necessary, and adjust project constraints as needed.
• Develop, support, and implement sales strategies and plans to drive business growth.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market conditions, adjusting strategies as needed to stay competitive.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow the customer base while ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute sales materials and campaigns.
• Organize, manage, and facilitate content for update meetings, and regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

What does it take to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of project management experience.
• Proficient in computer applications, with advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite and Windows operating system.
• Competent in working with spreadsheets and quickly learning new Excel functions.
• Experience using order management programs and customer relations management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage change & demonstrate a can-do attitude while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures and completing on-the-job training.
