Job Description
TS Food Packaging is a growing company that provides quality food packaged products to our customers. The ideal candidate wants to grow with us to provide a Food Safety Culture across our facilities in Burlington, WI. The Compliance Manager will collaborate with the management team to ensure all quality standards are met to meet FDA and SQF audit requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and participate in corrective action activities in food safety practices
- Coordinate internal investigation of compliance issues and address customer complaints
- Monitor the HACCP, GMP, and SQF programs to ensure compliance
- Serve as liaison with FDA and State inspectors and customer auditors
- Ensure employee training is conducted and meets audit requirements
- Work with new and existing customers to develop and update labels to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to provide assistance in administration of the total quality program.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred and 7+ years experience in food manufacturing environment
- SQF Practitioner Certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of HACCP, FDA and SQF and Sanitation program compliance
