Job Description

6 month position. Will be in D.C. office Tuesday - Thursday and Work From Home Monday and Friday.

The Evaluation Manager supports the development of data collection tools and generates insights to strengthen program evaluation and inform program implementation. The Evaluation Manager will respond to time-sensitive technical assistance requests from programs and support teams in creating evaluation frameworks and plans. They will also support knowledge management efforts, including collaborating with the Evaluation Work Group (EWG) to create a Sharepoint site for sharing learning resources. Familiarity with Microsoft Sharepoint required. Strong analytical and organizational skills required. Must possess expert level knowledge of MS Excel.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Conducts research on evaluation approaches and methods for new and existing programmatic areas
• Responds to program requests for technical assistance with data collection, analysis, and reporting of findings
• Develops new evaluation resources and supports Knowledge Management efforts to make resources more accessible in Microsoft Sharepoint
• Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience with MS Excel
• Demonstrated proficiency creating and presenting compelling data visualization products in PowerPoint and/or more sophisticated platforms
• Survey development experience to include creating questions and programming surveys into an online platform such as Qualtrics
• Practical experience and comfort leading colleagues and stakeholders in discussions that challenge, interpret, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative social science data is a plus

5 years working in data/evaluation
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
