Our global, 12,000 person technology solutions, products and services client has asked The Maven Group to help find a Embedded Software Engineer for their Minneapolis, MN location.

Relocation provided for the right candidate!!

Due to the nature of the work, a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraphn is required. All work must be preformed onsite. Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule).

The chosen Embedded Engineer will joing our clients High Performance Computing Group, developing and supporting advanced HPC software and hardware mission capabilities.

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
• Active security clearance at the TS/SCI with a Full Scope poly is required

What you need to bring with you:

• Technical and problem-solving skills in advanced computing systems, hardware, software, mathematics, physics, or end-mission applications and support, with an understanding of how those capabilities fit into the bigger product / service offering.
• Expertise in applying technology and technical skills to solve challenges in creative ways.
• Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.
• Energized by the diverse software and computer engineering problem sets of HPC.
• Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.
• Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems
• Ability to travel as needed.
