Job Description

As frontend Wordpress Developer you'll implement, maintain, and modify custom Wordpress websites with our team of developers, designers, and project managers.

This is a fully remote, full time position.

What you'll do:

• You'll build, maintain, and modify Wordpress Websites
• You'll do the majority of your work in HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery), Wordpress
• You'll use a lot of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
• You'll also work with some basic PHP and MySQL
• You'll match provided designs and check them for cross browser and device compatibility
• You'll develop some frontends for non-Wordpress websites and web-applications as well
• We have clients in many industries so you'll get to work on many different applications and codebases.
• You'll have to do problem solving, probably learn some new languages and coding styles, and get to work with our team of awesome developers.

Requirements:

• Ability to code Advanced CSS, HTML, and JavaScript required
• 3+ years experience with Wordpress implementation with custom themes and plugins
• Excellent front-end skills, including HTML and the use of CSS preprocessors (LESS and SASS) and modern principles of JavaScript development
• 3+ years experience in frontend languages (HTML, CSS) as well as creating and editing cross browser, responsive websites
• 3+ years experience in Javascript and associated Frameworks (Vue, Jquery)
• Experience coding landing pages and emails
• Expertise in source control, code review, and repository management with git
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to function well in a self-directed, team-oriented environment
• Must be up-to-date and always learning about the latest technical standards and best practices in interactive design and development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a team player that also can work independently, escalating issues when appropriate

Education

• Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Design or related field; or equivalent work experience
