Job Title: General Manager - Electrical Contracting Company
Location: Saint Louis, MO Compensation: $100K-$250K DOE Type: Full-Time Company Overview: We are a rapidly growing electrical contracting company specializing in both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager with a strong background in electrical work and construction management to lead our team to new heights. Position Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys operations, ensuring the successful completion of projects, driving business growth, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical contracting, a proven track record of scaling small businesses, and strong leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: - Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electricians, project managers, estimators, and administrative staff. - Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Business Development: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both residential and commercial markets. - Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and expand the companys footprint. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers. Financial Management: - Oversee the companys financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Monitor project costs and ensure profitability by managing expenses and optimizing resource allocation. - Work with the accounting team to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and financial compliance. Project Management: - Ensure that all projects are planned, executed, and delivered according to contract specifications, timelines, and safety standards. - Oversee project bidding, contract negotiation, and procurement processes. - Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Strategic Planning: - Develop and implement long-term strategies for company growth, including market expansion, service diversification, and operational efficiency. - Set and achieve company goals, ensuring alignment with the companys mission and values. - Continuously assess industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.
