Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (Conversion within 3–6 months based on performance)

Pay Rate:

• $21.28/hour during orientation
• Additional $0.50/hour increase upon full-time conversion
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Day Shift)
• Work Week: Begins on Sunday

• Note: There are no scheduled onsite interviews, but all candidates should come prepared .
• Attire Required: Long pants and closed-toe shoes.
• Group Tour Times:
• 8:30 AM
• 10:00 AM
• 1:00 PM
• 3:00 PM (CST)
• Candidate Action: Provide availability for one of the tour times.

🏭 Position Summary

Join the MilliporeSigma manufacturing team in Lenexa and help produce dry powdered media (DPM) used by pharmaceutical companies nationwide. This is a full-time, long-term role with opportunities for growth and stability in a clean, team-focused environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Load raw chemicals into stainless steel blenders and operate interface controls.
• Monitor automated systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare packaging materials and package finished powder into barrels, buckets, or bottles.
• Palletize and prepare shipments.
• Sanitize equipment and maintain clean work areas.
• Connect hoses/piping using gaskets and clamps.
• Operate parts-washing and cleaning systems.
• Record data accurately in English logbooks.
• Use basic computer systems to track production.

• Preferred Background: Experience in manufacturing, machine operation, warehousing, or quality roles.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and follow written procedures.
• Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance.
• Seeking primary full-time employment (not a secondary job).

📅 Schedule & Training

• Training Days:
• Tuesday & Wednesday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Deployment:
• Assigned to your permanent shift pattern starting Thursday or Friday (Day 3)
• Shift Pattern:
• Two-week rotating schedule, includes weekends
• Note: Full year’s shift schedule provided on Day 1
