Job Description

Under general supervision, repair and maintain plant stationary equipment and mobile equipment. Learn skills necessary to perform welding, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and to perform preventive maintenance. Learn to diagnose and communicate equipment conditions to a supervisor. Work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Be able to identify and avoid hazardous situations. Duties will also include plant screen maintenance, general repairs of conveyors, aggregate processing equipment, greasing/oiling equipment, maintenance of mobile equipment, conducting inspections and doing operational and safety checks on equipment. Follow all Graniterock safe work practices and demonstrate attention to detail. Observe all of Graniterock policies and procedures and support the Company Core Values.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent SKILLS: Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools. Must have the ability to work independently and accomplish required tasks in time available. Basic record keeping related to maintenance skills. Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift. EXPERIENCE: Some technical school or occupational mechanical experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS: Experience working on heavy industrial stationary or mobile equipment. EXPERIENCE: 1 - 5 years maintenance experience. Experienced or certified welder OTHER COMMENTS: Must have valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record. Must to be able to work varied shifts including swing and graveyard. Work is covered by the Operating Engineers Local 3 or Machinists. Graniterock
