This is a variable hour / part-time role of up to 20 hours per week, with an expectation of an in-office presence during hours worked. Compensation range: $18hr to $26hr. Based on our Davis, CA office location. (West Yost uses geographic salary differentials that would apply for candidates in other regions).
LOCATION: This position will be located in our Davis office. ( Essential Duties and Accountabilities - Serve as office coordinator support providing general office administrative dutiesincluding but not limited to: distributing mail, answering phones, ordering supplies, and scheduling meetings.
- Support technical staff by providing high-level administrative support to provide documents to internal and external clients.
- Format reports, letters, technical documents, and presentations according to companystandards.
- Proofreading and production of reports, memorandums, and other project-related and internaldocuments.
- Providing quality assurance/quality control of all draft and final documents.
- Event planning for office and the firm.
- Greet all visitors, internal and external, kindly and professionally.
- Delivery of work products to clients and other area offices.
- Assisting in maintaining a pleasant and orderly office environment by providing supplies and stocking and maintaining the kitchen and common areas of the office.

Qualifications Required Education and/or Experience - Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- Highly developed editing skills and understanding of technical writing with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to exemplary customer service.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Education and/or Experience - Associate degree or higher
- 5+ years' experience in administrative duties and have technical knowledge.
- Prior experience in the engineering/scientific field.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Ability to be organized, multi-task with accuracy, and perform multiple duties in a timely fashion.
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals.

Work Week The base work week and core hours are around 20 hours a week in-office in our Davis location, Monday through Friday 10:00AM to 2:00 PM, but we can offer some flexibility around the hours depending on your needs.
Travel This position may require travel to other offices and/or client offices. Applicant must carry a valid driver's license. Applicant must also be able to meet West Yost's rules and be eligible to drive for business. West Yost's insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
