\nThe Regional Controller role requires a highly efficient, detail-oriented, proactive individual, Big 4 Accounting experience preferred. The Regional Controller works closely with each local General Manager and Regional Vice President to provide monthly financial statements and forecasts along with analyzing profitability, cash flow, and other financial data. This role manages the financial and administrative activities at the assigned properties to assure compliance with corporate policy and procedure.

Based in our Lombard, IL North American Headquarters, reporting to our Vice President of Finance.

Responsibilities:

\n
• \nProvide status of financial performance of the company’s operations through the collection, reporting, and interpretation of key financial data.\n
\n
• \nCoordinate the preparation of the annual budget process and assist the General Manager in the preparation of the budget and forecasts.\n
\n
• \nPrepare or assist in the creation of financial projections used to make strategic and tactical decisions designed to improve financial results.\n
\n
• \nEnsures adherence and compliance with company policy and procedure while also providing counsel to the General Manager and on-site management team. \n
\n
• \nReport directly to Finance but has dotted line responsibility to Regional Vice President of Operations. Works closely with the Regional Operations team.\n
\n
• \nPrepares and coordinates daily reporting, monthly closing, and other reporting requirements as required at a local, regional and corporate level.\n
\n
• \nAssist the RVP and General Manager in the analysis of operational data (KPI’s). \n
\n
• \nCandidate must develop a central understanding of the profitability drivers of the Organization\n
\n
• \nManages fixed assets, insurance costs, and parts/equipment inventories, all multi-million dollar commodities\n
\n
• \nInvolved in providing new business and contract re-procurement support to operational and business development personnel.\n
\n
• \nOther duties as assigned.\n
\n

\n
Qualifications:

\n Experience

\n
• \nBig 4 Accounting/Auditing Experience or Equivalent preferred.\n
\n
• \nBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required.\n
\n
• \n3-6 years experience in assessment of financial performance required. \n
\n
• \nCPA and/or MBA preferred. IFRS Experience is a plus.\n
\n

\n Skills and Knowledge Required

\n
• \nAbility to analyze financial results and assist on-site management with the development of action plans to maintain performance levels and profitability expectations.\n
\n
• \nProficiency with standard computer programs. Knowledge JDE is highly preferred.\n
\n
• \nStrong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).\n
\n
• \nAbility to work efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision.\n
\n
• \nDetail-oriented and results-driven.\n
\n
• \nAbility to solve problems in a practical and pragmatic manner.\n
\n

\nTravel requirement outside of the immediate area: 10-20%
