Position Summary Acuren is currently seeking for an Embedded Rope Access Level III Technician with NDE discipline to support our operation in Torrance, California.
We are seeking local candidates based in Torrance, CA or surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.
This is a full time nested position
The ideal candidate will have NDE discipline in UT, RT, DR & CR
40hour guaranteed
Responsibilities - Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Be conversant with relevant work techniques
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
- Assist other technicians as required
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements - IRATA Level 3 Certification required
- NDE discipline
- Certified in RT, DR, CR & UT
- A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
- Current first aid certification
- A valid drivers' license is required
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
- Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
- Pay Transparency:As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $48.00-$52.00 an hour depending on experience and applicable certifications.
