About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and optimize the procurement process. The role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in leadership, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements, particularly within the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities for the SVP of Supply Chain at the company include overseeing inventory levels, implementing control systems, and conducting regular audits. The role also involves building and maintaining strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely procurement of quality products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a Master's degree is preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain management. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems is essential, as is the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. The SVP will work closely with cross-functional teams, so strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively are also required.
