This role is a US Editor who will report to the Head of SEO.
What does the role look like?

We're looking for an Editor to join our global content team. In this role, you'll have the chance to shape our content strategy, lead a team of writers and content creators, and guide the production of high-quality, engaging content.


Working closely with the SEO and growth teams, you'll ensure our content resonates with our primary audienceand drives user growth.


As the US Editor, you'll be at the heart of content creation, balancing creativity with data to produce articles that engage and convert.

We have a diverse team of over 20 writers, however you will have the opportunity to build your own roster of content creators.

This isn't your normal newsroom. At Whop we are trying to build something that will become a case-study for SEO and innovation in publishing.
Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a team of writers
• Exceptional English writing skills
• Experience working in a newsroom or other large content team
• Ability to proof-read content for errors, improvements and optimizations

Nice to haves

• Good understanding of SEO
• An interest in creator monetization, ecommerce and side hustles
