Talent Acquisition Specialist

Full-Time, 30-40 hours/week

Remote, East Region

$25-30/hour + commission

What You Will Do

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work directly with our clients and our internal team to post job ads, find & communicate with qualified candidates, and manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process with a goal of job placement.

  • Utilize established, proven recruiting resources and platforms, such as internal database, job boards, postings, referrals and social media, to attract qualified professionals interested in contract and contract-to-hire employment.
  • Develop creative recruiting methods and initiate an outside-the-box strategy when needed.
  • Maintain a consistent amount of focused daily activity based on predetermined metrics. The position requires a great deal of phone interaction thus those who can effectively communicate via this method in a fast-paced environment will be most successful.
  • Screen candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions.
  • Conduct skills testing, phone interviews, reference checks, and background investigations.
  • Prepare candidates for the client interview process.
  • Present job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms.
  • Manage the hiring process from both the client and candidate sides of the business, developing trusted relationships.
  • Expand and maintain a consistent pipeline of clients and candidates that is consistently large enough to meet monthly requirements.
  • Work effectively with other team members in a manner that maintains individual achievement while promoting the success of the company and all professionals involved.
  • Keep accurate information regarding all facets of your search assignments. This includes salary information, skills, essential background statistics, and numerous other items of importance.
  • Work in a timely and efficient way to ensure that you go above and beyond to meet hiring deadlines.
  • Network for new business contacts and referrals.
  • Continually improve and refine your own recruitment style while adhering to the basic methodology of Editech Staffing. There is certainly no one way to be successful at this endeavor and we encourage innovation.

Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years.
  • Previous staffing and recruiting experience.
  • Energetic self-starter who is willing and able to function autonomously a great deal of the time, is highly competitive, and can adhere to a monthly quota.
  • Process and solution oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships.
  • The ability to multitask and meet deadlines, even come in ahead of them.
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office applications and other relevant functions, strong computer skills.
  • Team player who is accountable, coachable, and receptive to feedback.
