Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Accountant for a dynamic role that blends tax preparation, financial reporting, and client advisory services in a flexible, hybrid-remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Assist in tax planning and research to provide clients with optimal tax strategies.
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
Maintain and update accounting software, ensuring data accuracy.
Communicate with clients to address accounting and tax-related inquiries.
Stay current with tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance for all client engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience with individual and business returns.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and UltraTax preferred).
Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
