**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** You will assist the classroom teacher with the implementation of the educational program. This position must maintain a working relationship with other staff members, parents, and children. You will report to education leadership.
**Payrate: $17.98 per hour| Hourly, Full Time | Schedule and Hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday OFF | Weekly Earned Wage Access is eligible for this position |**
**Primary Tasks:**
+ You will monitor the safety and behavior of children in classroom, on the bus, and while on the playground.
+ Help set up the environment (indoor/outdoor) for the activities of the day.
+ Help prepare and teach Weekly Planning Form based on children's individual developmental needs
+ Observe and record behaviors of children to assist the teacher in the identification of each child's strengths and growth areas.
+ You will attend parent meetings, home visits, parent/teacher conferences.
+ Assist children during meals.
+ Be a willing participant in Tribal functions when needed
+ Must maintain a commercial driver's license (minimum of Class "C" with a passenger endorsement and a School Bus Driving Certificate)
+ Must obtain a Food Handler's Permit
+ Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Must have knowledge and ability to work with appropriate software applications.
+ Must have the ability to work with children, remain calm, and patient when emergency situations and difficult situations occur
+ Experience working with children with a professional setting preferred (2+ years)
